Beneath the Surface

Quilt was inspired by the movement of water and the objects that float in the current.

It is made of hand dyed silk noil and cotton which has been curved pieced and a contrasting pieces inserted into the top.
Quilting was done free motion style and then beads and additional textured fibres further embellish the quilt.
